that we fall in love.
i think the wonder of google search is pretty amazing. not to say about trying to google like some medical term that we dont know and etc. but also to google names and the blog url appeared in the search engine! i always wonder who are those who actually google my name and tadah, youre right here reading my post. maybe you will want to say hi by commenting? ive got a sudden tinge about this because every time i check my counter, there will be link from google search of my name to here.
anyway besides this, ive been really good! trying to adapt to the working life as much as possible. the waking up early is really not my forte but i guess i just have to keep going on till god knows how old. but so far so good, im enjoying my work and my colleagues are nice! environment is good, everything is good! in fact, i just came back from New Orleans last Saturday for work purposes. was there for the Halloween and i would say, whoa, definitely an eye opener!
and there were so many first times ive experienced when im there;
getting pick up from the airport to the hotel by limo,
party van was our transportation to everywhere we go,
attending meeting/ conference,
experiencing the victory of Giants SF with so many fans around,
and doing voluntary work overseas.
following the latter, we were there, doing corporate social responsibility by building houses for the victim of Hurricane Katrina which happened 5 years back. its probably the most memorable day for me because i learned how to do flooring right from the start. from laying of some sheets on the ground, to tiling to even sawing the tile so that it fits in nicely, i say we did a wonderful job. there were a couple of times we chipped off the wood while laying, but behind the back of our brain, 'this is our grandma house', we took out the whole tile and lay it all out again. its just a team effort. and if time permits in Feburary, i will want to do some voluntary work again the next time i head back. :)
